Phase One - The Main Entrance.

I am delighted to say that phase 1 of our plans to create a secure boundary to our allotment site is now complete.

This has been possible due to support from our local councillors who granted us £500 from the Community Chest and The Co-operative Association who granted us a further £500 from their Community Award Scheme. Thanks also to support from Councillor Denise Jeffreys who holds the portfolio that includes responsibility for allotments and agreed to match fund our efforts. We have been further supported by visitors to our web site using the affiliated links to several companies who have agreed to support us in this way. We have also held various fund raising activities that have been well documented on the blog and web site. Our thanks go to everyone of our supporters and also to S and D Fencing for the great job that they have done for us. We look forward to working with them again when we have raised enough funding for Phase 2!!!
