Plant Protection

Last year many of us on our site had brassica plants devastated by wood pigeons so covering with netting was essential if we were to save any greens for our dinner plates. This year the brassicas will be netted before the wood pigeons get the chance. It is important though to make sure that the ends of the netting are well tucked in so that birds do not end up being trapped.
