This is ours! So which way is up?
This tomato was grown in our plot greenhouse at Green Lane. It's a beefsteak tomato variety called Black Crimea - this one certainly looks as though it has been in a war. The flesh and skin are a darker colour than usual so it can be tricky to tell when it is ripe. It tastes good though - much better than it looks!!
